THE ISLAND OF FAVIGNANA
Inspired by the pristine landscapes of our island, the roots of our cultural heritage and our love for the land that sustains us, we created Isola di Favignana Gin to reflect the aroma of each botanical harvested from healthy soil, which captures the essence of the spirit of our culture.
The intent is not just to produce gin and spirits, it is much more, we are regenerating the soil, enhancing the biosphere and protecting the botanical and cultural heritage of Favignana.

Isola di Favignana Gin is the first London Dry Gin made with endemic botanicals grown and harvested on the island of Favignana.
To create the Gin, we selected 12 botanicals with the help of Dr. Umberto Rizza, Favignanese pharmacist and botanical expert. The ingredients have been chosen for their deep aromatic complexity, which has created a true, unique Gin, capable of reflecting people and place.
Gin is free from allergens and gluten, with no artificial flavors, sweeteners or added colorings.
We are dedicated to supporting farmers, artists and creatives on the island of Favignana, which is why our label was designed by the painter Gaspare Bertolini. The glass for our bottle was created by one of the best Italian glassmakers to reflect the furrows of the hand-cultivated land.
THE BOTANY OF GIN
Each ingredient was selected with the help of Doctor Rizza, Pharmacist and Naturopath, madly in love with his island. At the base of the London Dry Gin, juniper berries, coriander seeds and angelica root, let's add lemon peel, olive leaf and wild myrtle leaves. Still 6 endemic botanicals of Favignana are missing: Helichrysum, Roman Chamomile, Absinthe, Sweet Mint, Rosemary and Verbena.
The notes of lemon and sweet mint give freshness to the palate, while the sweetness of Roman chamomile balances the bitter nuances of juniper and absinthe. Helichrysum and myrtle add structure to the recipe. Together, the ingredients offer an authentic experience with a creamy, artisanal and well-balanced flavor; a rare expression of the soil of Favignana and its uncontaminated ecosystem.
Our botanicals are watered with water from an artesian well, which means, in our case, that the water is slightly salty. Our respect for this rare resource is the basis of our principles. We are also sure that this adds something special to the botanicals of this island
We distill Gin outside Favignana. None of us have ever thought of defacing the largest island of the archipelago with the largest protected sea air in Europe. The distillation process and the use of alcohol at 96 ° C could pose a threat to our terrestrial and marine ecosystem. We strongly believe that above the place of distillation there is the terroir.
