Roku combines 8 traditional gin botanicals with 6 unique Japanese botanicals selected and grown in four seasons: Sakura blossom, Sakura leaf, Yuzu peel, Sencha tea, Gyokuro tea and Sanshō pepper. Each botanical is harvested according to the Japanese concept of shun, keeping each ingredient at its best, only harvested once they have reached their best flavor. A multiple distillation process brings out the best of each botanical: cherry blossoms and green tea give a floral and sweet aroma, while on the palate it has a complex, multi-layered flavor, for a harmonious taste.
